HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN COMING TO TONE HOUSE? 5 months
WHAT OTHER WORKOUTS DO YOU DO WEEKLY? HIIT, spinning and going to the gym
HOW DID YOU FIRST HEAR ABOUT TONE HOUSE? My friends told me that it’s the hardest workout in NYC.
REASON FOR COMING TO CLASS INITIALLY/ FITNESS GOALS? Curiosity! I love trying new workouts that are tough and challenging and that gets me out of my comfort zone.

FAVORITE TONE HOUSE CLASS? Hmm, that’s a tough one…. all of them?! Probably Core Focus Day because it is so hard.
FAVORITE TONE HOUSE “TOY” (EQUIPMENT) TO USE IN CLASS: Bungee ropes and sleds.
WHAT HAVE BEEN THE BENEFITS OF COMING TO TONE HOUSE FOR YOU? My speed (I HATE running!) has improved, as well as my agility and my strength, but most importantly my confidence! Can’t beat that feeling of accomplishment I have after each class. It’s just amazing.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT TONE HOUSE THAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER GYMS/WORKOUTS? It’s the combination of the coaches, the community and the intensity of the workouts. From the warm-up to the last drills there is no hiding, you’re never in your comfort zone, and the workouts are never the same.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR VERY FIRST TONE HOUSE WORKOUT: I walked into a morning class with all the regulars. My husband had warned me that it was nothing I’ve ever done before and very challenging. I was thinking, “how hard can it be?” Oh boy! 5 minutes into the warm-up and I was dying. It was definitely a very humbling experience.
WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK FOR MORE?
- The encouragement from the coaches and the community.
- Seeing my strength and speed gradually improving.
- Never knowing what to expect.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SONG TO BEAST OUT TO? Anything by Drake
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TONE HOUSE MEMORY? After consistently going to Tone House classes I was getting quicker and feeling rather pleased with myself until I took a class with a lot of the coaches in it. Needless to say, my ego left and waited outside the door.
